British Army Issue Altberg Defender High Liability Boots is a versatile military combat boot that is lightweight, waterproof and built to be worn 365 days a year in all terrains. This makes these boots a top choice for soldiers and is the perfect companion for all your outdoor activities.

These boots allow for a Sealskinz® type sock to be worn in extreme cold weather conditions. The soles have a micro shock absorbing layer that keeps your joints protected when pounding around on concrete or trails allowing you to stay comfortable mile after mile.

These boots come in a medium (M) and wide (L/W) fitting.

We find that Altberg Defenders tend to be a snug fit so it is recommended to go up a size if you are between sizes.

Great boots but definitely snug fitting

I'm normally a size 10.5 in boots so I ordered an 11, but I struggled to get them on. I returned to exchange for a size 12, which fit really well with decent socks on. Great service on the exchange. I normally manage to destroy a pair of walking boots every year, but these look and feel much tougher and have a really good design on the tongue to keep water out. This has been a weak point on some other boots I've had.
