Super Grade – best available condition

• Unissued or showing only minimal evidence of use
• Leather is clean and presents close to new, although minor storage marks, light creasing or polish residue may be present
• Soles show no wear or only very light test wear
• All eyelets, hooks, stitching and laces are present and functional
• Best choice when appearance and maximum remaining life matter most

Grade 1 – good used condition

• Previously issued and used, with moderate cosmetic signs of service
• May show normal creasing, light scuffs, marks, polish variation and wear around the collar
• Soles retain substantial tread and remain suitable for regular use

Fit and sizing

Select your normal UK boot size. Altberg Defenders have a secure military fit and can feel snug, particularly with thick socks. Fit remains personal, so compare against footwear you already wear comfortably.

Care instructions

1. Remove loose mud with a soft brush and clean with lukewarm water.
2. Allow the boots to dry naturally away from radiators, fires and direct heat.
3. Apply a suitable leather boot wax regularly, paying attention to flex points and seams.
