This current issue British Army MTP basha, ground sheet, tarp, tent, poncho however you want to call it is a fantastic piece of army kit and has a multitude of uses. It is ideal for lots of setups and has attachment loops all around the edge of it. It works well on its own as a shelter or over a hammock and can even be folded in half and used as a stretcher. It is lightweight and easy to carry in your bergen as it folds up very small.
