Built for demanding military use, these genuine British Army issue HAIX High Liability combat boots combine rugged black leather construction with dependable wet-weather protection, support and grip. Designed for long days on rough ground, they are a serious alternative to ordinary work, hiking and tactical boots.

Condition options
Super Grade: The best surplus condition. Unissued or showing only minimal storage or handling marks.
Grade 1: Previously issued and used, fully serviceable, cleaned and checked, with moderate cosmetic wear.
Grade 2: Heavier visible wear but serviceable. May show more pronounced scuffs, creasing, sole wear or repairs. Supplied as a matched wearable pair.
Sizing
Select your normal UK boot size and preferred fitting. Medium is the standard fit; Wide provides additional room across the foot. Military surplus sizing and insole thickness can vary slightly between production batches.
Important
These are genuine graded military-surplus boots. The photographs show a representative pair; colour tone, markings and cosmetic wear will vary. Waterproof membranes in used footwear cannot be guaranteed indefinitely. These are not sold as safety-toe boots.

Is this genuine military surplus?
Yes. We stock authentic issued military equipment, not replicas — combat boots, clothing, webbing, rucksacks and field equipment sourced as genuine surplus.
What do the condition grades mean?
Every item is graded so you know exactly what you're getting:
Brand New / Unissued — Unused military surplus. May have minor storage marks.
Supergrade — Excellent used condition with very minimal signs of wear.
Grade 1 — Good used condition. May show light wear, marks, fading or previous owner identification, but fully serviceable.
Grade 2 — Heavily used but serviceable. Expect noticeable wear, marks, repairs, fading or cosmetic damage.

How do I pick the right size?
Military surplus sizing differs from civilian high-street sizing, so check our Size & Condition Guide before you order — it covers NATO and UK conversions for jackets, shirts and trousers, plus notes on fit for specific items (Altberg boots, for example, are known to fit snugly).
Jacket and shirt sizes are taken pit-to-pit (armpit to armpit); trouser sizes are based on waist and inseam measurements.
How fast is delivery?
Free 24hr UK delivery on orders over £60. Orders placed before 1pm Monday–Friday are dispatched the same day; orders placed after 1pm, or on weekends and bank holidays, go out the next working day.
Royal Mail 24 (tracked) typically arrives 1–2 working days after dispatch, and Royal Mail 48 (tracked) 3–5 working days after dispatch — both are estimates rather than guarantees. A Guaranteed Next Day service is also available for £24.99 (order before 1pm Mon–Thu for next-day arrival; Friday orders arrive the following Monday).
Do you ship outside the UK?
We do ship internationally via Royal Mail, Parcel Force, DHL and DPD, though delivery times vary by destination and are estimates only. Import duties and taxes are the recipient's responsibility, and customs delays don't count as late delivery. Get in touch if you'd like to check delivery to your country before ordering.
What's your returns policy?
UK orders can be returned for a full refund within 60 days of receipt; international orders within 30 days. Items must be unworn, unused, in their original packaging, and with all tags and labels still attached — items with tags removed aren't eligible for a refund.
Return postage is paid by the customer and isn't reimbursed, so we'd recommend using a tracked service, as we can't be held responsible for items lost on the way back to us.
Will I get exactly what's pictured?
Product photos show a representative example of the item. As these are authentic used pieces, individual items will vary slightly in wear from one another while still matching the condition grade stated on the listing.
